looks like someone beat me to it.. was about to ask if those fruits were figs. looks very much like it. didn't know it can grow in Malaysia. always thought it came from middle eastern countries :p

I have bathed in a storm drain before (kinda like a waterfall) but at least the water was flowing. This isn’t.

Couldn’t help that ‘little girl’ bit up there. If I add reverie it’ll not sound like a title.
I’m a Sungai ‘Petanian’ myself. Love your sense of humour, displayed throughout your blog… incl the remark about Janet Jackson’s wardrobe (hahaha).

I originate from Penang. More than 20 years as SP resident, I never really toured SP thoroughly enough. Never went up Jerai at all (hang head in shame)…
