Then as the door is closed, I become the madam and I start to get aggressive by plucking and snapping of his teeth one by one, while looking at a study model of his teeth. The teeth was some how spread out in OPG style (x-ray of your jaws) BUT in plaster of paris, with the teeth snapped out accordingly.

I was just snapping his teeth off one by one while he sat there but with anger in his eyes. I snapped everything off with my fingers and suddenly family members started returning to the house so I left one quadrant of his dentition in tact. (the entire dentition is divided into four..so one quadrant is 8 teeth.)

I knew he was going to take revenge but I had to get away from him.

Then I forgot what happened. LOL.

Next thing I knew, Linda Chung (wtf) was forcing me to chomp on glass and eat them.

I couldn’t tahan swallowing the pieces of glass so I started to retch out bits of glass. I had to puke it out carefully so that I did not cut my throat. The retching woke me up. UGHH. Luckily I didn’t puke on Chee Kiang’s bed.

Oh yeah, I’m in Singapore now. HI!

Sent my first ever order from One Woman’s Junk by hand delivering it to a house in USJ 11. The buyer’s name shall be known as K.

Stopped outside the house, checked the number. Number 19. Check. Road? USJ11/xxD. I’m pretty sure it is.

The house and all its neighbors do not have door bells so I was knocking on their gates. I contemplated climbing into the houses to put the bag of clothes but I thought about my future and realize that it is not wise to stay in jail over one red dress and a green top.

So after knocking on like four houses, a little girl comes out of one of the houses. I explained my situation and asked if I could place the bag of clothes at her house and I would tell K to come collect it later in the evening. She first agrees then runs back out to say that her mummy don’t let. Ok lor. I then ask her maid for a plastic bag and she gives it to me to put the clothes in.

All wrapped up in a plastic bag, I then throw the plastic bag into house number 19, USJ 11/xD.

Satisfied with myself, I reaffirmed the address on my phone and my eyeballs almost popped out when I saw that it was actually 19, USJ 11/xB. B!!!

I stared forlornly at the plastic bag sitting in the garden of the wrong house and thought about foregoing that bag of clothes forever and returning RM58 to the poor K.

I then knocked on number 17 and a girl comes out. She looks like she’s about 16 or 17. I explain my situation to her and ask her if it’s okay for me to come in and borrow a broom and a chair to try to pick up the bag from her neighbour’s garden. She kindly let me in and when I placed the chair to the side of her wall, to my horror, the bag was beyond reachable. I contemplated putting one chair on this side of the wall, and trying to put another chair on the other side of the wall. The plan was to climb over. And perhaps fall and crack my skull.

I put the chair over to the other side of the wall… and because it was on the grass the chair hit the floor and then fell to its side. FML FML! I was freaking out by then. LOL.

So I told the girl that I would explain the situation to the girl who ordered the dress and could she please please get a hold of the bag for me the moment her neighbors got back. She cheerily said okay and promised me that she would do just that.

I then drive over to USJ 11/xB house no.19. There’s a nice big functioning door bell, with people in the house some more. I was about to vomit blood already. And my feet were getting fried under the afternoon sun.

I explained my situation to another young girl in the house who happens to be the cousin of K and to please remind K to collect the bag of clothes from house number 17 on USJ 11/xD. She said okay, totally understanding the whole story.

I then got into my car and quickly emailed K to tell her the story.

She was so sweet!!! After hearing my super FML story, she even said it made her day. So nice of her right?

But she had her own FML story too, though it had a happy ending:

“zomg you know what happened? I went to house no 17 xD, and the girl told me she forgot to take the parcel from house 19 3D. Then I ketuk ketuk the house gate and the houseowner came out, she said she came back home late and she didnt see any parcel. Then she said she will ask her niece when she comes back whether there was a parcel when the niece got back from work in the evening (the niece was out)

Then i gave her my hp num and drove back home. Just when I parked my car in my house porch the lady called me to say her nephew saw a plastic bag and a stool in the garden when he got home from work, he thought ppl anyhow throw rubbish in the garden and he THREW THE PLASTIC BAG AWAY. Into the huge bin at the end of the lorong summore, not the normal garbage can in each house.. So I started my car and drove back again, then had to go find for the bag in the huge rubbish bin! FML Betul. Thank goodness it was just on top! I brought scissors in the car, so i saw one nicely tied bag on top of a pile of rubbish and i just cut the top open and took the clothes out without touching the plastic bag. The bag is still there, the clothes are with me (yay!)

I shall forever remember this night as the night of my rubbish bin malfunction ”

I really don’t know what to do with myself already..

So now I shall focus all my energy on churning out this post. You all very bad one lah. I so susah payah do all the reviews yet hardly any comments. T_T Sakit hati tau! But it’s okay, DEMI MAXIS AND SAMSUNG! *fire in the background*

In today’s blog post of phone review monologues, I shall be showing you some of my favourite apps and also three instant messaging apps that I use on this phone.

Layar

Layar is a browser that shows you businesses and services around you in real time. The technology that they utilize is called Augmented Reality! You’ll see why.

Layar!

I am not quite sure what this list is but it greets me everytime I log in.

You have many layers to choose from. Each layer shows you a certain category of service. There are many to choose from. Car rentals, ATM machines, restaurants, shops..etc. When I was at the Penang Airport, I tried using the Car Rental layer and my screen was flooded with listings.

You can even adjust the range. So you can just limit it to like within 1km.

Upon clicking the layer, grids will be sent out to assess the area around you. I don’t know if it’s just for show or not lah because the app clearly utilizes the gps, camera and accelerometer (to be used as a compass). As a result, you get a cool effect when you see the icons float in front of you. See those gas stations on the screen? It means that within a few km as depicted in the blue box with words below, that particular gas station is XXkm away from me.

You can click on the blue screen to get more details about that particular business.

I think this is one of its coolest feature!

I love Layar a lot though it can be quite freaky. Especially when I used the Tweeps layer in a huge crowd. There are bound to be people using twitter while having their gps turned on. With the tweep layar, you can see who just uploaded a tweet like, meters away from you. Yes, it can be that freaky.

While waiting for my flight at Changi, I showed Chee Kiang the Tweeps layer on Layar. We were scouting for twitter users around us.

Foursquare

Most people are no stranger to this up and coming form of social networking. Foursquare is useful in the sense that it tells you about places around you that are interesting and when your friend checks-in to somewhere new, say a flashy bar, you’d be enticed to check it out yourself too!

When you check-in more than a number of times, you become the Mayor of that particular establishment. Upon receiving your mayorship, some establishments have even picked up on the craze and issued discounts to these so called mayors of their establishment.

Places near my house..anyway, no worries about revealing where I stay. There’s nothing left in my house to loot. Only valuable thing is well……me! *bows*

Upon clicking on a venue, you have to then check-in.

You can brag to your friends that you’re at like… say, on the Eiffel tower! If only I had this phone last August. Ahem, ahem, brag, brag.

When you click on maps, you can even see exactly where the establishment is located in.

You can even see what others have said about this particular venue. It is very useful for other users who would like to share what they like about their favourite cafe so that other users who drop by would know what’s the house specialty and if it sucks or not.

It is actually very fun for those who enjoy stargazing. I’ll be doing some of that tomorrow in Langkawi. Hopefully I can put it to good use!

The gps detects your co-ordinates and then the compass starts working and so the phone will show you what you are supposed to see if you are looking in that particular direction. This is correct because where I am facing in this photo is the west and it was night time already. So the sun has already set in the west and is sort of underneath me.

You have the options of disabling and enabling what you want to see – constellations, planets..etc.

If you point it up, it would show you that the sky is already dark, which it was!

They even have a ‘toggle night’ view thing to ease your eyes.

This is a strange but intriguing app.

It charts your menstrual cycle and even shows you when you are ovulating and stuff.

You can add these to your My Days calendar. Very interesting. But my period has not arrived yet since I got the phone, so no chance to try.

Very useful if I am trying to get pregnant.

Once upon a time, there were two jaws named Bogeh and Chewy.

Chewy and Bogeh were friends. Not exactly, super close that kind but at least they got on sort of well.

Sometimes they shared a good laugh together..

And sometimes they argue and start mouthing off each other.

One day, Chewy said to Bogeh, “OMG LOOK THERE!”

So they looked.

Mr. Pringles said, “Ahh. That was a good one.” and walked away after he excreted a piece of Pringles chip from his can.

The aroma from the Pringles chip started wafting up to their..er.. I guess noses, wherever that is.. and they were both enticed.

Bogeh was faster than Chewy and picked it up immediately much to Chewy’s horror.

“It’s MINE!” Chewy bellowed. 

“OPEN YOUR MOUTH AND LET GO!” screamed Bogeh.

They struggled..

It was so intense until suddenly..

‘Prrraaakkkk’. Bogeh broke in half and lay motionless on the parquet floor.

“AI YAI YAI…what have you done?!?!” screeched Mr. Pringles. 

Mr. Pringles put his head on the motionless jaws. “No, Bogeh. This is terrible. You fought over a piece of chip from me and now you’re gone!!!” Chewy looked on nonchalantly.

But he was also abit kepo lah, like most Malaysians and Singaporeans. You know how got car accidents sure must see a bit a bit one.

Chewy decided to pretend that nothing happened and slowly put the pringles chip away into the back of his mouth.

“How could you do this to your friend?” asked Mr. Pringles.

“You should be ashamed of yourself!” chastised Mr. Pringles.

“Like I care!” said Chewy indignantly.

Chewy then continued to chew his Pringles chip with all the satisfaction he could muster. “It’s KRRUNCH TIME!” said Chewy.

And made a mess – which showed he was really enjoying himself, savouring the salty chip, bit by bit.

Autopsy results on Bogeh’s homicide will be revealed soon.

“It’s Krrunch Time, Get Playful!” is the theme of this blog post. I was just messing around with some old dental casts which I used for my endo simulation practicals. It’s playing right, sort of like giving life to your soft toys when you were a kid and making a storyline out of it.

So this is the first part of the contest. Don’t expect another story line for the second part of the contest… I hardly have time to shit these days.

I’m missing three weeks of my final year. I try not to worry. Really! Missing out on the juniors’ orientation and stuff. Btw, I heard that the medicine people did the batch 5′s orientation..wtf? It’s one of the few things we poor boring dental people look forward to each year.

I’m having a lovely time here in the UK despite the painful prices my father has to pay for simple meals and everything is totally unaffordable. The shopaholic in me is dying inside… I. need. my. shopping. malls. I need shoeeess.(as in to feed my addiction)

Speaking of shoes, I actually saw some really nice one in Paris. Pretty colours in leather-like material and for like 15 Euros, which is, what, about RM80? Pricey but what one would expect to pay for a nicer pair of heels. Sigh. Shop shop shop. Maybe I need to see a shrink.

I just got back from my europe trip.

Amsterdam – need to go back without the parents (KIDDING, DAD).
Switzerland – totally gorgeous! Ever seen a clear river in the middle of the city?
Germany – was in the suburbs. Bah.
Paris – I think I’m in love.

And the cold weather is making me miss Chee Kiang more. Haha, poor thing only get missed in low temperatures. Kidding lah, I can’t wait till we both graduate and then get a place together. Counting the days.

So yeah, favourite city by far? PARIS! Omg.

I always thought artsy fartsy people are pretentious and I always roll my eyes at people who give up everything to ‘chase their dreams to be an artist’ but now I see the light. I really do.

I didn’t get to go see the Louvre as I heard the Mona Lisa is so small. Probably about the size of my laptop.

I’m not particularly interested in those big names and stuff but I wouldn’t mind that when I know a bit more! I went around (and got lost) in Montmartre. It’s a village where most artists from Paris go to showcase their work.

I THINK I WANT TO START PAINTING!!

Saw this  particularly gorgeous one of two fluffy cats looking out at the Moulin Rouge (which I saw with my own eyes btw when we got lost!). I don’t understand how they manage to make the colour shine so brightly, like there are really lights coming out. I want to paint LIKE THAT. And there’s another kind of painting style which I adore. I think they call it water colour painting. You know, like very light pastel shades carelessly painted within black outlines but not totally staying within the lines, do you know what I mean?

First thing to do when I get home: Buy artblock.

If I hadn’t gone up to the Eiffel tower, I would probably have to make another trip back to Paris just to go up the metal structure. Which I did. We thought we didn’t have enough time but dad made sure that my brother and I went up the tower. NO ONE TOLD US THAT YOU HAD TO CLIMB ALL THE WAY UP TO THE SECOND FLOOR. Dad and mum certainly didn’t say anything, so cheeky. Mervyn and I were almost dead. Imagine, ending your life climbing the Eiffel tower.

And I never knew that those blinking lights come on at night! And the colours of Paris at night? Ratatouille was totally telling the truth.

I was at SS15 tonight with some friends and one of my friends was like, “Eh, saw your blog that day. Wahhhh what a long post on Michael Jackson!”

I was all, “YES! OMG He is so hot so hot so hot so hot. In the 90s lah.”

And he goes and drop the mother of all bombshell, “Did you  know I met him before?”

I slammed both hands on the table, “WHAT?!? START TALKING!”

Here was a boy who grew up and lived in Subang Jaya, just like me. Attended the same primary school as me and secondary school as me and he had a once in a lifetime opportunity of meeting Michael Jackson.

It was a morning in 1996 and his mother was running late. The time was 7.15am and school was starting at 7.30am. The 10 year old Jonathan (okay lah, I think it’s okay to say his name… and it’s Jon Ooi for those who are wondering.) was fretting as he would be late for school. The 9 year old Jolene was probably doing some rounds as a prefect at that time in that very same primary school, all early and stuff. Anyway, back to Jon.

His mother then said, “Okay, no need to go to school already. We’re meeting Michael Jackson today.”

His eyes widened to dinner plates size.

This happened because he had an aunt who was a diehard Michael Jackson fan. She had some connections who knew that Michael was having a “Meet the Children” session at Hard Rock Cafe KL.  He only wanted children so for any adult fan to come see him, their only ticket to this golden opportunity was a child. It’s so amusing to think of my friend as the sacrificial kid! That’s so typical of Michael Jackson right. As much as I want to be his Lisa Marie Presley, and I’d even settle for a Debbie Rowe kind of post, it’s okay to have a giggle at Michael jackson’s fascination with children.

Michael Jackson was in Malaysia at that time as part of his History tour. It was quite a hoo-hah. Even a kid like me who didn’t read the papers and only saw a few bits of advertisement on tv knew that the king was coming!

So apparently, he, his brother, his baby sister, mum and aunt were there at Hard Rock Cafe. About 30 over children were allowed to roam around the venue but the parents were confined to the bar. I’ve never been inside so I don’t really know what’s the layout but apparently the bar is kind of restricting.

All Michael wanted was to come and make friends with the children and play some games. Parents were not part of the plan but they had to be there to watch over their children.

When Michael Jackson finally entered the venue, all the children swarmed around him. Most of them were on a mission, like Jon, who was made to get Michael’s autograph on a Michael Jackson picture book. He was promised RM100 for each autograph and after getting the first one, he went back to his aunt who scolded him and said, “GET SOME MORE ! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!” LOL i’d probably do the same. I’ll definitely drag my nephew if I had one who can already talk. *waits impatiently for Ethan to grow up*

Jon said Michael Jackson did not say anything the whole time but enjoyed the company of the children for about 15 minutes. Apparently, the parents went ballistic. They were CRAZY. They were trying to climb over the bar to get to Michael Jackson. For the 10 year old, he had never seen adults lose control. And we all know what kind of effect Michael Jackson has on his fans right? Fainting, screaming, crying..etc. A crowd of screaming fans had already gathered outside the restaurant by then.

Michael was apparently, according to Jon, pissed off by the commotion as all he wanted was some quiet time with the children of Malaysia.

Even Jon’s mum (HI Aunty! I wonder if you’re reading this! ) was slightly crazy but couldn’t go all the way cuckoo because she was holding on to his baby sister. The security guards wanted to take his baby sister to Michael to hold but she was crying. His aunt later chided the poor kid for the missed opportunity. LOL.

Jon’s younger brother was running around, quite oblivious to everything. He stopped in front of Michael and looked up at him. Michael reached down and ruffled his hair.

After that, his aunt continuously ruffled the brother’s hair going, “OMG MICHAEL JACKSON TOUCHED YOUR HAIR. HE TOUCHED YOUR HAIR! MICHAEL JACKSON TOUCHED YOUR HAIR!!” The ruffling continued.

I love his aunty, she’s so funny! Hahaha.

And just before they entered the venue, the aunt made sure Jon’s mum remembered to load batteries and film into their analog camera. The aunt was going trigger happy the entire time. When they wanted to develop the photos, they realized that the film was actually inserted the wrong way. -________________________________________- I’d go mad. So mad… I was actually very angry when I heard it at the dessert table just now.

I found Jon’s story so fascinating because he actually met the legend as a young boy. It’s just so amusing as you keep hearing all these accounts of children visiting Neverland and spending time with him. And Jon actually had the Malaysian version of it. How I wish I was one of the children at that little Meet The Children session. But won’t it be wrong for a 9 year old to be thinking, “Hot damn, if only I could tear off his clothes… that long white sleeve shirt and those black slacks…mmmmmmmmmmmmm”?

Finally found the energy to complete the post! This is coming from the girl who still has not blogged about New Year’s Eve. I’ve also been meaning to blog about ADSALympics 2008, a sporting event by my dental faculty and ADSAlympics 2009 is in two weeks’ time. T_T

Nuffnang Music Bash is by Maxis Broadband, if you don’t already know. Gotta love all these costume parties. There were plenty of Jason Mrazes and Katy Perries that night.

So as usual, Soon Seng offered to drive. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not one of those girls who leach off boys for free rides. I offered to drive since my car was back in Subang with me. But Soon Seng is and has always been such a gentleman, so down the Federal Highway we went after his ACCA classes. He’s so hardworking, already working and yet he has his ACCA classes during the weekend. Joyce, your boy is made of stability and financial security.

Just like the time I stepped out of my house as the Slutty Joker Nurse for the Halloween party, his expression from behind his window still made me laugh like mad.

I’ve been pestering him for a couple of weeks, “So what are you going as? What are you going as?” and he’ll be like, “I’ll think of something..just you wait….”

And Saturday rolled around and he was like, “I got a pair of sunnies and you know what? I’ll go as that dude who sings the bridge in Just Dance.” You guys should watch the video if you feel lost.

Seriously, when the Nuffnang team went on stage to perform Let The Music Heal Your Soul, the crowd couldn’t sing along because most of them at the party were about 8 or 9 years old when the song was popular. I is old. Cindy is Britney Spears from Baby One More Time.

This is Andy whom I met at a funfair 4 years ago! He is one of Liss’ close friends from uni and it was really strange seeing him at a blog gathering! I always feel like my world which is filled with friends from real life are not in anyway connected with the friends I have in the blogging world. Strange perception, I know.

Jen and David are both part of the Jem and the Hollograms band. I love how David’s hair colour is of that electric blue shade and how his shades can be of the exact same shade.

KY … I didn’t quite get your outfit. What was it?

There was a contest to see who could sing a chorus from any song and hold the last note for the longest possible time. After the bash, I’ve been singing randomly in the car, in the bathroom and trying to see if I can last more than 14 seconds. That’s the record made by this girl called Natalie who wowed the crowd with her Power Of Love rendition. I’m sure most of you have also been trying to see if you have got what it takes, don’t lie!!

There was a nother game where the contestants had to dance to Beyonce’s Single Ladies. Like copy her moves EXACTLY. Even professionally done, the moves are already so outrageous. Imagine it replicated. By guys. 0___0

The Nuffnang team took to the stage with the ever so nostalgic Let The Music Heal Your Soul. It is the one and only song that combined all the awesome boybands.

The Nuffies danced to Jai Ho and thanks to them, the song is stuck in my head. *plays Jai Ho for the millionth time on ipod*

I was elated when they announced my name as one of the nominees for Best Dressed. Again, Liang couldn’t get my blog url right. It’s pronounced, JAY-ELLE-ANNE-NUR-LAI-YERL. It probably is not meant to be pronounced this way. But if the French can dictate that Cafe be pronounced as CA FAY, I can butcher up the english language and have my blog url being pronounced however way I like it to be.

For the guys, it was ‘Eminem’, Bob Marley and John Lennon. Soon Seng didn’t include Yatz in the pic! Poor thing. But look at that! All the nominees got a dot com each.

To generate some crowd response, the nominees had to do some booty shaking to show the audience what they were made of.

The crowd was cheering and all, probably because I’ve got some good friends in the crowd who have mega lungs (thank you Kelz, Jen, Pam and gang!). I did my default dance moves (hands in the air, swinging hip) and ended it with a Shakira butt shake that I usually do to make friends laugh.

The cheers stopped adruptly. I think I shocked the audience on the right of the stage into silence.

Pink finished her number and we then waited anxiously for the winner to be announced.

Yatz won the best dressed male award. Like me, he won RM500 worth of Topshop vouchers. In a way it is rewarding because I could never afford anything from Topshop. But apparently the vouchers can also be used at Warehouse, Diva, Dorothy Perkins and Miss Selfridge. I’ve been salivating over the clothes at Warehouse for the longest time and now I have these vouchers! I’ll remember to treat all two pieces of my Warehouse apparels with tender loving care.

I have been obsessed with Lady Gaga since the beginning of this year after hearing her song on the dance floor at Zouk. Yeah I know, a bit slow.

Taking home the Best Dressed Female title was a bonus, but the process of becoming Lady Gaga was much more fun, as tedious as it was. It was of course really really worth it when people kept coming up to me for photos. *KEMBANG SIAL*

So yes, the timing was perfect, I had one month to acquire my outfit. When I was telling Soon Seng that I usually need one month to get ready, he balked and said, “What?!” Well, might sound stupid but after calculating procrastination time and the time it takes for me to search for the correct additions to the costume and the time it takes for it to get posted to my house, one month is just about enough. Three weeks is still okay, but if you give me only two weeks, I’ll end up being something boring like this.

As Lady Gaga, the hair bow was a must. Followed by the blonde wig.

Lady Gaga’s trademark is her super short leotards and all I could think of were swimming trunks and a shit load of guts. I chickened out of that in the end. Fortunately I ordered a pair of faux liquid leggings as back up. I changed my mind like 5 minutes before I was supposed to leave the house.

Her bow is of course thicker and more lustrous. I won’t tell you how many pieces of hair extensions I bought (and paid for OMGGGGG) but it still couldn’t match her thickness. Might have needed a whole new wig for it.

This was the look that I was going for. My last resort Lady Gaga element would’ve been those crazy spikes she’s sporting but unless you’re a Lady Gaga fan, you wouldn’t know what the hell those boxes are.

Eyelashes inspired from this photo! Needed something super fluttery and feathery.

So you’ve seen her super short pants (but that’s not enough, google her and you’ll be ASTOUNDED), it’s fortunate that she is also known for her leather leggings. Those were my back-ups, in case I chickened out of my briefs, which I totally did.

I even wanted to do my nails like this but I had no time!

So this was where I got the stuff from:

Hair:

I needed a platinum blonde wig and the closest I could get was a long silver wig (coz I wanted to do the bow you see) from this wig seller in Singapore. It took almost 10 days to reach me! I had to rush out in between classes to do the post office in town (15 minutes drive away from uni is quite a huge chunk of nap time) to collect my precious wig. My Sassy Hair Wigs has a huge collection of wigs. They even cater to cosplayers!

This was the one that I bought. it was so freaking long that it annoyed me so much so I butchered it up. Kind of regret it now. Me and my rashness. Could’ve had waist length hair. Sigh. But she also sports shoulder length hair. *consoles self*

I cut almost half the length away so that I could fashion the bow, but it was not meant to be. I also cut the fringe to a more Lady gaga kind of length.

To make the bow, I still needed some hair extensions so the moment I reached KL, I made a bee line for Sg. Wang. The third floor of Sg. Wang is a HAIR products and accessories heaven. Hair extensions of every kind can be found on the third floor. I did also buy three hair extensions in violet, candy pink and baby pink. Love those so much! Only Rm6 per piece! Will camwhore with it next time.

So yeah, I bought some bleached hair extensions to match the colour of my wig. Bought cheap hair spray and szsssssstttttttt half the can to get the bow to stay plump. Attached it to the wig with plenty of bobby pins. I was too annoyed and stressed out to take photos. I should really have.

Make-Up:

There’s a girl on youtube who teaches us how to get the look Lady Gaga had in her Just Dance video. It seemed fairly easy but turns out that the lids were going to be blocked by my super feathery eyelashes anyway.

For the eyes, I used silver and black from the famous Coastel Scents 88 Colour Palette which I bought for RM80 from BlushBerry. I did however find another one for RM59 in the lowyat forums by a seller called Missha80.

I used the colours indicated by the arrows.

For the lightning bolt, I used a mixture of the coastel scents colours, Secret Summer Minerals which were sold by Connie and an electric blue eyeliner from Silkygirl.

I actually used liquid eyeliner and the Etude House is pretty good! Cheap and easy to handle.

For the eyelashes, I bought them from Lie Yuen’s sister, Iris, who runs I Love Lash.

For her super pink cheeks, I used a blusher from the silkygirl range. I’m supposed to review that, but have been procrastinating since November.

For the lips, it was supposed to be nude. She’s always wearing nude glossy colours. Thank god I had my Stila Quad Palette which I haven’t even used since buying it more than a year ago. -_- i’m such a woman.

Boobs:

My pride and joy! I bought my much needed Free Bra from this awesome seller called Lychlee at the Lowyat forums. Be it online or offline, her price is by far the cheapest I’ve ever come across. And this Free Bra, these two floppy pieces of chicken fillet, can be from RM30-RM80. RM19 basically means you must buy like 5 boxes and keep for rainy days.

These adhesive bras are actually smaller than your actual cup. I was pretty convinced that it was the same size as a normal bra so I took a C.. but I’m proud to say, I needed a D to get maximum oomph. Stick it as far away from each other as possible (the apex should just about cover the nips) and then bring it together with the clasps. Who needs Wonderbra! I’ve been using Free Bra since 2004 and it’s like a basic necessity for me.

To get a more in-your-face kind of cleavage, I wanted to push it all together with a red belt-corset i got from Cats Whiskers.

I wore it once with a blue dress on a night out and was known as Superwoman ever since. The colours are very Superwoman, i’m not as sexy as her, sorry. But it was damn uncomfortable, though I had a very unasian cleavage for a brief moment of breathlessness.

The outfit:

For the top, I set aside an entire day to go costume hunting at the only Lala mall closest to me in Kedah. Prangin Mall is Penang’s answer to Sg. Wang. The fashion there is crazy and some treasures can really be found. If you love shoes, the shoes there are too die for. Every single shop. Please go to Prangin Mall and spread the love for shoes all over the world. And they are cheap too!

So anyway, I was having lunch with Brenda and we were like, “ugh, when you want to look for something, confirm damn difficult to find one.” But we were wrong, the first shop we went to, I saw the perfect top.

it was located in a costume shop which catered to costume party fanatics. It’s more like a lolita-gothic kind of shop. Very strange stuff they have, but I like!

They even have a blogshop on Friendster (who shops there?!). Here’s the link to their blogshop, Exotic.

For the pants, I bought an ogival swimming shorts. Nuff said. No balls to wear it lor.

So as backup, I decided to get faux liquid leggings from Bows Lover.

I mean it was still her style, but those short pants just scream LADY GAGAAAA.

I bought a pair of fingerless gloves from this shop in Sg. wang called iSock. I think that’s the name. It’s a super duper awesomely lala shop which sells gloves, stockings and all skirts and dresses with laces and more laces. The best part? A set of gloves only set me back RM5. Leggings and stockings of all kinds can be found there.

I have a gorgeous pair of Oxfords which totally completed the look. For all the times I’ve worn them, every girl has sang praises about the shoes. Clothesbucket will be so proud. I bought it for Rm50 from their last bazaar sales.

Still with the ‘pretend’ wig. I was supposed to wear only this, but I can’t be prancing around. The only good shot I can get of myself is with a mirror. By anyone else and I’ll be Flubber the Monster. I can totally imagine all the cringe worthy pics I’ll see online if I went ahead with this.

In Prangin Mall, I also bought a dummy head to put the wig on, so that I could pin the bow on it and give it a hair cut. Lie Yuen or my mum won’t want to layan me for so long.

Fortunately for me, the same people who came up with KL Freeze will be organizing the Corntoz Pillow Fight which is in conjunction with International Pillow Fight Day! I don’t hope to miss this one! It’s going to be on the 4th of April, 4.00pm to 7.00pm, this Saturday. I’ll be home!!! Faster go sign up with their Facebook event page so you won’t miss out when they announce the secret location.

I don’t know who will teman me but damn this sounds like some serious fun. Just taking your pillow and whacking total strangers.

How liberating! You could be like, “I don’t like your face..” *whack* or “Why are you talking to my boyfriend? CANNOT EVEN SMILE, BIATCHHH!” *WHACK* (and sneakily give a few punches when the Pillow Fight Police are looking away).

Just like KL Freeze, the location of the Pillow Fight will only be released two days prior to the event. I mean, it’s really something to tell the grandkids about!

I had a few rounds of practice. Just to see exactly what I can do, you know? Don’t want to go there as a weakling on that day.

Even if you don’t intend to whack the fella, it’s still quite fun to look at him shiver in his pants while you maintain this expression and pose.

Imagine a whole bunch of crazy psychos whacking each other with pillows and goosefeathers (though I don’t think our Malaysian pillows are stuffed with goosefeathers) flying all over the place. So awesome!! It’s going to be like winter. I checked the facebook event page, so far, there are about 340 guests and the number is increasing by the minute.

Sure seems like the answer to a really really long week.
