well, being happy with what you have is a first step. indeed, we cannot forget others who are deprived of the same benefits we have. while we may have all these blessings, perhaps there are even others in our own families that don't have the chances we do. we need to make a difference. o_O

ya, so? i speak malay to my grandmothers you got problem ah? *gangsta face*

happy belated merdeka too.. ^^

I dunno what i reli feel about malaysia - it does change under diff circumstances.. it's funny how u say u feel a tinge of happiness when u see malaysia is acknowledged internationally because that is just so true.. Dnno whether it's the kiasuness in me - as in m'sia can also do well - or it's just because I'm proud of being part of it..

it's when I see people like u who make me feel proud as a m'sia in someway because m'sia is indeed a nice place and as much as i like my life abroad - m'sia will always be my home and it's the only place I can relate too, which explains why I never fail to mingle with m'sians, trying to find a sense of familiarity because ultimately, I'm most comfortable hanging around them.

that being said, there are indeed lots of things i don't like about m'sia and as much as I hope for it to change - i just cannot see how one can do it under such circumstances.. it's just too hard and sadly, I gave up believing it will change for the better..

jo: hehehe, yeahhh.. alot of people have told me that no matter where you are, as long as you meet another Malaysian.. the feeling is just so nice one you know!.

Me too...I've put my primary school naiveness behind me;)
