i love the poem! so wistful and sentimental and hopeful and my friend’s version is “point at the moon and your ears will bleed” and according to him it’s true. he has seen it happening often enough to believe in it.

and HEROES Ep1 Season 2 IS SO GOOD!!!! oooh today ep 2 is coming out!!! we are all pirates….arrrr!

eh have u ever wondered where do the lanterns go ah? the big big ones? after they fly off, ppl who set it up will just walk away and ppl from other side of the world (town wtf) have to deal with the residue edi wtf

and i like the poem, it’s nice!

and i just watched heroes season 2 too! damn nice and kancheonggg. here in US i can watch every week edi nenenebubu wtf

jo: hahaha… yalah like so magical like that hor, so blind to reality i think our first lantern landed on top of our admin building. it’ll be a nice piece of memory when dentistry students of the year 2040 organize a mass spring cleaning and then find the old lantern from the year 2007, let go by their seniors. ahhh…

Wow chicks-galore *slurp*

I haven’t touched this thing called ‘lantern’ in many, many years. These days, they come in all funky shapes and sizes, and they emit the most annoying noises…

Worse, they run on batteries! Lanterns minus the candle+fire takes away half the fun!

jo: haha.. yes, they are very pretty. … hehe that reminds me of a guy who was pointing at everyone around a table recently asking us when’s the last time we played tanglungs… i was quite proud to say “tuesday!” while everyone said things like, “12 years old, 14 years old.. etc” hehe.

yalah, the whole point about the lantern festival is to play with fire! Arsonists united!!
