as a med student im disturbed by the fact that u are taking photos of your anatomy specimens and posting up here. i am not aware if AIMST has rules about taking photos in the anatomy lab but i believe u have a duty of having some RESPECT and PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY towards those who were so willing to give their bodies after death in the name of medical/dentistry teaching (and not for a blog post). one of the bodies may belong to a family member of a friend. Treat the specimens with respect. please. jo: i've asked for permission before in the labs if i could take photos and put it in my journal...but that was in anatomy last year. we were allowed to bring our camera. but i'm not clear about the journal part. maybe they didn't understand my question and i'm sorry for not knowing. I don't think I am making fun of the specimens. I thought I was sharing what I'm learning. Clearly, I must have had a skewed idea about that which is why I needed someone to point it out to me. Thank you.

*ahem*… technically, saying “i want to play sparklers” is correct because people regularly play more than one at one go (i.e. plural noun). on the same note, refering to one ‘sparkler’ as ‘sparklers’ is also contextually correct because a single sparkler lets out many sparkles, hence, can also be classified as a plural noun:)

don’t mind me if this does not make sence. i’m a linguist and this is a compulsive comment:)

oh gosh! i love your sparklers. how do u do slow shutter??? *camera noob*. ur teaching me a lot, gained inspiration to learn photoshop fr u. ahha. ^_^ gd luck with exams. ur blogs always keep me entertained whilst reading boring droning books, hence lack of visits fr me during holidays. ^o^\

jo: heheh.. thanks..just set the camera to night mode(most of the cameras have that function, indicated by a moon one..!) hahaha.. aww that's nice to hear! but exactly which part of photoshopping are you interested in? can help you..but very very very basic stuff like adjusting colour only. lol thanks for visiting yeah! I hv been following your blog for sometime now. I am just curios if you do practical with dead corpse? er. say to pull a tooth frm a dead person? lol..

I saw some of your post of sample organs and all..not sure if you encounter dead corpse too.

jo: hello! for a moment there i thought you were my friend sereneong from school:D
well, maybe you haven’t followed long enough. throughout sept2005-jun05…there were posts with photos of the corpses. it was so normal already after awhile. we did anatomy last year and it was crucial for us to study(and touch!) the dead bodies. fun fun.
