Comments on: Studying Bachelor of Dental Surgery at AIMST University

Hi, I got 10As in the SPM 2010. I got JPA scholarship to do a foundation in Biological Science in International Islamic University even though my first choice is Dentistry. The problem is that with this foundation, IIU only offers Biomedical and Biotechnical courses in the degree programme later. The chance to change course is almost impossible. I want to pursue Dentistry very badly. So, I may now opt for AIMST to realize my dream. My questions are:
1. How to apply for a scholarship/ loan?
2. Do I need to do foundation at AIMST?

hey,
i have “heard” things about AIMST. Nothing too harsh per se, but those comments have changed my views regarding the university. However, how is the educational environment in AIMST? Are the lecturers good? thanks…:)

jo: Hi! exactly what have you heard? the lecturers are really good. Always willing to help whenever you ask, whenever you need them. We have all specialists here for every subject and they really know their stuff. Patient flow is also very good because the locals cannot really afford dental treatments hence they come to us.

How can I get the telephone no to do dental check-up at AIMST? I’m having bringing gap at my root canal tooth….It’s really expensive at my personal dentist…do you really can help me?

i’ve finished my spm and my dad thinks that its the best for me to do dentistry in AIMST. the thing is that i would like to work overseas in the future so do you think that its the best for me to study at AIMST?

Hi.
I’ve just finished STPM and I am planning to pursue my tertiary education on dentistry. Being worried that the government would not offer the course I want, I am finding different pathways to pursue my ambition and would like to consider AIMST.

However, I’ve heard quite a lot of comments, positive and negative ones on the education quality, accommodation and food, administration of AIMST.

As an AIMST student yourself, particularly in the Faculty of Dentistry, would you recommend me to study Dentistry in AIMST?

OMG. Like WOAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. This is WAY cool. I didn’t know AIMST is like this O.o

Oh, um, I’m just a kid doing AUSMAT in INTEC. Was bloghopping for info on Dental Surgery since I’ll be doing it in Otago, NZ in the future (hopefully =.=).

So, uh, JPA scholars can come here too is it? o.O

Because, if I dont make the cut to fly to NZ, can I come here?

Not that I’m hoping i’d flunk. But you never know right, I might have an accident and couldn’t fly, or NZ got banned from JPA scholars due to swine flu or smthg. Point is, I need a backup plan. Just in case ehe ^_^’
